PEOPLE EARTHWISE (PEW) is an education civil society organisation legalised as an Association for Peoples’ Rights to Education, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development. Established in 2002 under Cameroon law, PEW’s global ambition and mandate is to engage with Teachers, Other Professionals, Natural Resource User-Groups, Women & Youths on Local, National & International Agendas to enhance Human Development & Nature Protection through EDUCATION & relevant SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Goals.

PEW seeks to engage Project Relay Officers (PRO) and Members in administrative SubDivisions cum Municipalities, to facilitate civil society participation in current Reforms in the Cameroon Education System and other PEW Projects. Reforms and Change solicited in Projects are effective if and only if the concepts, principles, procedures & actions are properly understood, accepted, undertaken and owned by stakeholders, implementing
agencies, target audiences and beneficiaries. PEW Officers & Members facilitate such progress.

For the PRO selection, backgrounds on Education, Community Development or relevant Social & Natural Sciences, the passion to engage local communities in their development and readiness to start from a Volunteering Position are advantageous. Membership is open, voluntary and interest-based.
